Upendo Foundation Australia is a not-for-profit charity whose sole purpose is to provide the financial means to operate our children’s home for orphaned and street kids in Boma Ng'ombe, Tanzania.
The home creates a safe refuge for vulnerable children who have no family support. The children stay with us until they are of age and ready to transition into a life in the community. They are our family and never really leave us.
Our mission is to help children out of poverty by providing hope for the future, a safe, loving, and nurturing environment, nourishing food and quality education.

Help us build a new home for children
A lot of love is needed to address the estimated 1.3 million orphaned and homeless children of Tanzania.
Today we are renting premises to house our children, which limits our ability to expand and offer support to more children in need. The urgency is that by December our lease expires, meaning we will need to move again - for the fourth time in just ten years. Unsettling for the children and their carers.
Our vision is to continue to provide the essential stability to our children and expand our operations to change more lives.
To do this, we need to purchase land and build our accommodation designed specifically for our children's needs.
